Short description of the experience in quarantine:
I was being quarantined in the individual room in Szent Laszlo hospital from March 4th to March 17th. I was surrounded by white light, a metal bed, the smell of the hospital, the sound of an ambulance, and nurses covered fully with gowns and masks. In the beginning, everything was terrifying; I couldn’t communicate with the nurses in the hospital because of the Language barrier. I felt like I was inside a jail for no reason.
Eventually, this space opened up to me; when I could hear the birds' sounds, I could see the raindrops on the tree leaves from my room´s window. I was calmer and relaxed. I started to do Tai Chi movements in this small room and meditated on my metal bed.
The sky was above me, and the mother earth was under my feet. That was surprising for my soul to feel this inner peace more than at any time in his life.
The video art entitled: “14 Days” Is a cooperation between two artists to represent the feeling and experience of quarantine time for two weeks in an individual room at the hospital.
